Lotus Club Social Media Policy
You agree to follow these rules when you post anything on our website, or our social media pages:
1. Don’t post content that could offend anyone. That means no swearing, racist, sexist or otherwise nasty comments.
2. Don’t attack Lotus Club or participating Benefit Partners. If you need to raise an issue with Lotus Club, you should contact us by email (see point 11 below). For issues with Benefit Partners, you can contact them directly.
3. Don’t attack other Lotus Club members. That also means no posting accusations or allegations of crimes or misconduct that may be defamatory. If you need to report a member who is behaving inappropriately, you should contact us by email.
4. Don’t post content that violates any person’s rights. That means no posting content that defames anyone, or discriminates against them, or violates their intellectual property or their privacy.
5. Don’t post content that is misleading or unlawful. Also, don’t use our website or social media sites to commit fraud, to harm anyone else or to break the law.
6. Don’t break our pages. Don’t introduce any virus, Trojan or anything else that may affect the operation of our website or social media sites, or that may breach our security.
7. Don’t flood our feed. We want there to be room for everyone to participate. So don’t make repetitive posts of similar material, or upload excessively large files.
8. Don’t post spam or advertisements. Our website and social media pages are for your personal use, not for commercial purposes.
9. Be relevant. Don’t post stuff that has nothing to do with Lotus Club.
10.Don’t post links that breach our policy. That means no posting links to material or sites that are inappropriate or unsuitable, or whose content would violate this policy.
11. Don’t use social media for your member enquiries. Our social media pages are not the contact points for any member concerns, enquiries, feedback or issues that you might have. We do welcome your comments and feedback, however, by email to members@lotusclub.com.au or in writing to PO BOX 1134, Applecross, WA 6153.
